Moët & Chandon: The Drink Of Choice At The Golden Globes!
Guys, it’s that time of year where I THRIVE! The new year may have just started but I feel like all of 2019 was leading up to this: AWARDS SEASON! It’s in full swing. It really started in September with the Emmy’s but we ALL know that this is the time when things really start to get crazy. And to kick it all off is Hollywood’s drunkest night, The Golden Globes. They’re happening on Sunday and as per youj, Champ House Extraordinaire Moët & Chandon is the official champagne of the show.
But Moët is not just there to get young Timothee Chalamet tipsy (try saying that five times fast). No, they’re also there for a great cause with their “Toast For A Cause” initiative. How does it work? Well, as the stars are walking down the red carpet, M&C will have a display set up with little Imperial Brut minis. Nominees are then asked to raise a toast with a mini to their favorite charity. One the toast is raised, M&C will donate $1,000 to that charity in the nominee’s name. You hear that Timothee? Make sure to raise a toast on the red carpet BEFORE you head inside. I’m watching you.
“Ok, that’s all good, Chanel, but that’s ALL the stars will be drinking, little champagne minis?”
HAHAHAH! Don’t be a fool! The actual ballroom will be stocked with plenty of bubbles. Each table will be adorned, in fact, with Moët Rosé Imperial Mags and M & C Grand Vintage 2009. There will also be a signature cocktail featuring Moët Imperial Brut, curated by fashion designer LaQuan Smith, called The Moët Golden Hour. In short, don’t you worry about your fave stars getting nice and toasty cuz they are taken care of.
I’ll be headed to a Golden Globes viewing party on Sunday myself and you know what? I think I’ll pick up a bottle of Moët for the occasion. But what do you think: Imperial Brut or Rosé Imperial? Let me know in the comments.
